Roberto Abraão had great luck who in the 11thth minute grab hold of the ball when Remo Gonçalves from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Nunes got free with Roberto Abraão in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lavajinha SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Erivaldo Vaz hit a great ball. Giuseppe Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Waldemar Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Remo Gonçalves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Abraão. Remo Gonçalves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 38 minutes into the game, Waldemar Nunes lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Roberto Abraão. Waldemar Nunes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hudson Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Vaz in the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Dracena got free with Giuseppe Dante in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Nunes's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Abraão was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 61stth minute of the game Waldemar Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tubibus SC's Roberto Abraão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Téo Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Barros struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Roberto Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavajinha SS. Thomás da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tubibus SC's Bebeto Abreu got a free kick in the 77th minute. Remo Gonçalves took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Abraão. Roberto Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After having played for 84 minutes, Remo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavajinha SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remo Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Abraão having to interfere. Lavajinha SS's Giuseppe Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Marinho in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Waldemar Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tubibus SC's Roberto Abraão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 minutes, Bebeto Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tubibus SC and the Lavajinha SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lavajinha SS booed when Tubibus SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Lavajinha SS were the better team. Lavajinha SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
