Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Chico Vianna started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vitinho Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. João Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Vergílio having to make a save. When Arcadia's Marcus de Sena in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serra Talhada FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Serra Talhada FC's zone, Marcus de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Vergílio came out of the goal and Marcus de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When João Schmidt got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Erik Vergílio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Marcus de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serra Talhada FC's Erik Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Schmidt in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Nelsinho de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Vianna in the 26th minute of play forced Arcadia's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Osvaldinho Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arcadia's João Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus de Sena in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, João Schmidt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arcadia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Schmidt was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Arcadia booed when Serra Talhada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serra Talhada FC's Erik Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Schmidt in the 63rd minute of play. When Arcadia's João Schmidt in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A wasted opportunity for Arcadia. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Marcus de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arcadia's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Vergílio having to make a save. Erik Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Koehler in the 83rd minute of the match. Erik Vergílio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Serra Talhada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Pires to maneuver through the defense. João Schmidt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Erik Vergílio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. João Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Erik Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arcadia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
