Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Schmidt in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Fellipe Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Olívio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Barreiras's goal looked a bit too open when João Schmidt came free, but Nelson Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barreiras's José Prestes got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Arcadia's Marcus de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The wind increased when João Schmidt made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Nelson Tavares managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Arcadia's João Schmidt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 55 played minutes Barreiras got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Tinoco. The audience was convinced that João Schmidt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Tavares was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Marcus de Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Tavares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Eliézer Pontes struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nelson Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcadia. José Prestes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreiras's goalkeeper Nelson Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Arcadia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Eliézer Pontes hit a great ball. The corner ended in Dedé Munhoz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barreiras's Nelson Tavares did a great save. Nelson Tavares made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Marcus de Sena sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, José Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arcadia's Dedé Munhoz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barreiras. 95 minutes into the game, Arcadia's Marcus de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
