To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Benê de Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Christian Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Natal Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Valdir Vergílio hit a great ball. Christian Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Cardoso went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Natal Esporte Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
