In the 5thth minute of the game Manoel Pitta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VIEZZER F. C.'s Claudinho Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, VIEZZER F. C.'s goalkeeper Claudinho Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeferson Urbano. In the 17th minute Zé Augusto Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Jeferson Urbano lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Claudinho Amorim. VIEZZER F. C.'s Claudinho Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save VIEZZER F. C. from getting a goal against them. Diguinho Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Christian Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Bittencourt in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Pitta in the 27th minute of play forced VIEZZER F. C.'s goalkeeper Claudinho Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Jeferson Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Zé Augusto Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VIEZZER F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Urbano got free with Claudinho Amorim in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manoel Pitta to strike the kick off in the second half. If Diguinho Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. After recieving a nice pass, VIEZZER F. C.'s Luís Arantes tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zé Augusto Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Garcia having to interfere. Christian Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diguinho Dantas's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Claudinho Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Léo Medeiros hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Claudinho Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Urbano in the 79th minute of the match. Roberto Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes VIEZZER F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Damião. Manoel Pitta might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manoel Pitta ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeferson Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
