In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's goalkeeper Benjamin Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Alessandro Urbano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marins SC and the Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25 booed when Marins SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséas Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Fantini having to interfere. Tadeu Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Franklin Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's goalkeeper Benjamin Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Oséas Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marins SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséas Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Benjamin Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael de Mendonça hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ramiro Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Fantini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Gil Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Jacinto, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Adelino Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adelino Secco was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tadeu Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Marins SC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gil Tinoco hit a great ball. Franklin Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adelino Secco's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's Percy Costa pulled a muscle in his leg after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gil Tinoco's late challenge caught a Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gil Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25 booed when Marins SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rafael de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Marins SC's Gil Tinoco got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Franklin Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséas Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Fantini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Marins SC's Luiz Eduardo de Mendonça got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benjamin Fantini. Ramiro Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Fantini came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Marins SC's Ramiro Medeiros. But to his dismay, Ramiro Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Piratas Do Asfalto ☆25's zone, Oséas Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Fantini came out of the goal and Oséas Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marins SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
