Pedro Luís Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. PLAYSON FC's Adilson Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PLAYSON FC's Rodriguinho Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Motta in the 22nd minute of play. Zé Carlos Netto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. PLAYSON FC's Adilson Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of PLAYSON FC booed when qnq5 futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute PLAYSON FC were awarded a corner. Zé Carlos Netto went to the cornerflag to take it. After 44 minutes, Augusto Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PLAYSON FC and the qnq5 futebol clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to qnq5 futebol clube getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arlindo Fantini hit a great ball. Zé Carlos Netto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olívio Botelho. qnq5 futebol clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Luís Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Carlinhos Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luís Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Pires having to interfere. Adilson Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olívio Botelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Jardel Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Pires having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Carlinhos Motta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of PLAYSON FC's Rodriguinho Pires. Rodriguinho Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arlindo Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play, PLAYSON FC's Adilson Borges made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olívio Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Adilson Borges came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the PLAYSON FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Borges couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PLAYSON FC had won after a very even match.
