Edvaldo Saraiva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Rodriguinho Pires 16 minutes into the match. Armando Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo de Senna in the 20th minute of play. Agnaldo Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Pires having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Cosmos Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Saraiva. Armando Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Borges in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Juninho Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosmos Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juninho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rodriguinho Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Edvaldo Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo de Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. If Edvaldo Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvaldo Saraiva in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Pires saved PLAYSON FC from getting behind. Augusto Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PLAYSON FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Augusto Tande hit a great ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Edvaldo Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLAYSON FC's Rodriguinho Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Cosmos Futebol Clube's Edvaldo Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodriguinho Pires didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cosmos Futebol Clube's Edvaldo Saraiva shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Rodriguinho Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvaldo Saraiva's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Rodriguinho Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Silva in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Cosmos Futebol Clube were the better team. Cosmos Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
