PLAYSON FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pinduca FC's Joaquim Velloso got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 32 minutes into the game, PLAYSON FC's Adilson Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hudson Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Pires made a huge save. If Artur Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rodriguinho Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Lopez having to interfere. Artur Albuquerque took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodriguinho Pires. Rodriguinho Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Geovânio Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovânio Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo de Senna in the 84th minute of the match. Reynaldo de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Hudson Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, PLAYSON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Albuquerque came free, but Rodriguinho Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
