The supporters of Jacu booed when Ibicuituba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Valdemar Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ibicuituba! Ruy Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Meirelles in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibicuituba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacu the free kick. After 28 played minutes Ibicuituba got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Antunes. Aloísio Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ruy Carneiro made a huge save. In the 32nd match minute, Jacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Neto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Jacu defense, Jonathan Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Koehler. The Jacu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Koehler should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Jonathan Arósio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Meirelles made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Meirelles in the 57th minute of play forced Ibicuituba's goalkeeper Ruy Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Ibicuituba's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Meirelles came free, but Ruy Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Mané Meirelles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The supporters of Ibicuituba booed when Jacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jonathan Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibicuituba's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Arósio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Hoffmann, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jacu's zone, Jonathan Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Koehler came out of the goal and Jonathan Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Ibicuituba's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Neto came free, but Ruy Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibicuituba's Jonathan Arósio managed to work through Jacu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jonathan Arósio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Jacu were victorious despite being under pressure from Ibicuituba for much of the match.
