Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazinho Quadros in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bigodes FC's Mazinho Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazinho Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Koehler having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazinho Quadros in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Koehler saved Jacu from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Jacu's zone, Vito Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Koehler came out of the goal and Vito Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdemar Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Mané Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Mazinho Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bigodes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th match minute, Bigodes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Sousa to maneuver through the defense. With 38 minutes on the clock, Glauco Marinho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Peres got free with Mateus Linhares in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes of play, Bigodes FC's Tiago Matos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Jacu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bigodes FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiago Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Meirelles in the 63rd minute of play forced Bigodes FC's goalkeeper Mateus Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Sousa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bigodes FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! If Vito Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Vito Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Márcio Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdemar Koehler. The goal made the score 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Vito Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bigodes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Vito Perez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdemar Koehler. The goal made the score 0-4. 89 minutes into the match, Jacu's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Perez came free, but Valdemar Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mateus Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Matos got free with Valdemar Koehler in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bigodes FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
