In the 8th minute, Arí Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdemar Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 12 minutes of play, Tome's Arí Godoi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mané Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. In the 44th match minute, Jacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Barral to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Guedes succeeded in the game's 45th minute to get real power on a long shot . Jacu's Valdemar Koehler hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-3! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mané Meirelles made the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Valdemar Penha had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 56th match minute, Jacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Barral to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Tome's Henrique Guedes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Renato Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Valdemar Koehler made a huge save. Tome's Arí Godoi suffered a concussion in the 63rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Jacu's Eusébio Barral got a free kick in the 64th minute. Henrique Guedes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aloísio Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Veloso having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Tome's Henrique Guedes got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Aloísio Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Tome's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Luz came free, but Sílvio Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonathan da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aloísio Luz got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sílvio Veloso was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Jacu booed when Tome was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tome eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
