When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Dino Ribeiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leopoldo Silveira to make any attempt to save it. If Dino Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golden Dogs's Luan Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Dino Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Silveira. Dino Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Leopoldo Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Ribeiro in the 38th minute of play. Barcetona's Leopoldo Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Ribeiro in the 39th minute of play. Luan Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luan Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. If Luan Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, Barcetona's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Ribeiro came free, but Leopoldo Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chico Mello to strike the kick off in the second half. If Dino Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute.
