The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guga Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Leite got free with Leopoldo Silveira in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elder de Moraes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Guga Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ratola FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ratola FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
