Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claudinho Nogueira kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Claudinho Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ativa Sport Club's José Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belchior Cavalcante hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Pompuanas AD's Pedro Augusto Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tomás Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Breckenfeld made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ativa Sport Club's Benedito Matos. Juan Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ativa Sport Club's José Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Nogueira in the 28th minute of play. Edmundo Dionísio in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Prata, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Dionísio got free with José Prata in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Matos struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tomás Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ativa Sport Club. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Costa in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Gerber saved Pompuanas AD from getting behind. Juan Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. José Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pompuanas AD. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Dionísio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Pompuanas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. Juan Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Arantes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Juan Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ativa Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ativa Sport Club's zone, Claudinho Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Prata came out of the goal and Claudinho Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Prata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Dionísio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Nogueira during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Claudinho Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Dionísio took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Prata. José Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 76th match minute, Ativa Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Matos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ativa Sport Club getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Juan Costa hit a great ball. Juan Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Gerber having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Nogueira in the 93rd minute of play forced Ativa Sport Club's goalkeeper José Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Claudinho Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Juan Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pompuanas AD were victorious despite being under pressure from Ativa Sport Club for much of the match.
