Luiz Gustavo Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Linhares in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes castelianos got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Dionísio. After 18 played minutes, MINAÇU F.C's Hílton França shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedrinho da Rocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MINAÇU F.C reached it. Pedrinho da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Sarmento in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Haroldo Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho da Rocha. castelianos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Luiz Gustavo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho da Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Lopez in the 46th minute.

52 minutes into the match, castelianos's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Sarmento came free, but Pedrinho da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
