Spectators: 5700 (Terracing: 4300, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgílio Sarmento started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dino Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Gustavo Luz was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Golden Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luan Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Gustavo Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 34 played minutes MINAÇU F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Mello. 41 minutes into the game, Luan Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luiz Gustavo Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg José Pedro Teles managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when MINAÇU F.C's Haroldo Hoffmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Luan Sá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. MINAÇU F.C's Luiz Gustavo Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Ribeiro in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes MINAÇU F.C got a freekick which was hit by Breno Marinho. Luan Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Luiz Gustavo Luz made a huge save. Luan Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luiz Gustavo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Dino Ribeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, MINAÇU F.C's Diguinho Sarmento got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Dino Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Gustavo Luz having to make a save. Luan Sá who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Gustavo Luz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Dogs's Dino Ribeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Gustavo Luz. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. Luan Sá succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 86th playminute. Victor Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Luan Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Gustavo Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luan Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. The MINAÇU F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Golden Dogs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
