Luiz Fábio Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 13 minutes, Claudinho Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pompuanas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Paranaense in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes, Dadá Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crisolita EC and the Pompuanas AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dadá Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Pompuanas AD booed when Crisolita EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 32nd minute of the match Adrianinho Alcântara completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adrianinho Alcântara a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 32nd minute, Adrianinho Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Augusto Paulista got in the 33rd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Zeca Secco. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-0. Tomás Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Claudinho Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Souto in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Luiz Fábio Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Luiz Paulo Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crisolita EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Gerber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo Souto in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Dadá Brasil notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pompuanas AD's Tomás Gerber. Tomás Gerber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Luiz Paulo Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pompuanas AD's goalkeeper Tomás Gerber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Crisolita EC's Luiz Paulo Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Luiz Paulo Souto took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Tomás Gerber to make any attempt to save it. Luiz Paulo Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes Crisolita EC got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Breckenfeld. 82 minutes into the game, Richard Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crisolita EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pompuanas AD the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Crisolita EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Zeca Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Richard Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Pompuanas AD's goalkeeper Tomás Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Souto. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luiz Paulo Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crisolita EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Crisolita EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pompuanas AD.
