The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Samuel da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warriors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Os Maestros FC's zone, Wágner Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Mota came out of the goal and Wágner Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo de Alcântara got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lúcio Salgado. Warriors FC's Eliézer Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Mota came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Warriors FC's Wágner Fontes. But to his dismay, Wágner Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristian Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Fontes in the 22nd minute of play. Filipe Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Fontes in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Mota saved Os Maestros FC from getting behind. Rubinho Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Mota having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Vinícius da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Rubinho Sena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Mota showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner Fontes to make the kick off. Leonardo de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Samuel da Silva took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Cristian Mota to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Os Maestros FC's Kléber Secco got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Wágner Fontes in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristian Mota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sílvio Luiz Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Filipe Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Warriors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Dantas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Os Maestros FC's Egídio Ramalho got a free kick in the 74th minute. Os Maestros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Warriors FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
