In the 38thth minute of the game Manfredo Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 37 Não é Febre's Carlos Eduardo Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Lúcio Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, 37 Não é Febre's Antônio Carlos das Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Acácio Vianna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 62 minutes into the match, 37 Não é Febre's Ronaldo de Sena broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 69 minutes into the game, Vicente Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 37 Não é Febre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Audax Paulista the free kick. A collision led to 37 Não é Febre getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vicente Alves hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Madureira in the 74th minute of play forced 37 Não é Febre's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos das Neves in the 78th minute of the match. If Paulão Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Audax Paulista's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Guilherme Lima in the 94th minute. The corner led Audax Paulista's Luís Guilherme Lima to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Eduardo Vergílio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Audax Paulista's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
