Chico Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Ares Empire's Guilherme França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Adelino Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rubens Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Pedro Paulo Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Ares Empire's Jano Trevisan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nazare's goalkeeper Jorge Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ares Empire fully deserved thier win.
