If Jânio do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cacoalinho-2's Elano Toledo in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nazare's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 played minutes Nazare got a freekick which was hit by Chico Vides. 47 minutes into the match, Adelino Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã de Mendonça. Cacoalinho-2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adelino Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

After having played for 54 minutes, Faustão Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Cacoalinho-2 got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo das Neves. When Adelino Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Nazare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Diniz couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Elano Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Nazare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Seco to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi Guimarães during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Didi Guimarães hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match José Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natã de Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nazare had played much better football throughout.
