The tension between the Nazare and the Anne Dieu-le-Veut players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Arlindo Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adelino Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazare's Jorge Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Velloso in the 24th minute of play. If Faustão Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Adelino Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Quintal went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlinhos Arósio during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

A collision led to Nazare getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gilvan Seco hit a great ball. Cristian Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Anne Dieu-le-Veut booed when Nazare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Vidal, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Caio Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiko Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Diniz in the 66th minute. The supporters of Nazare booed when Anne Dieu-le-Veut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Vale having to interfere. Nazare's Adelino Diniz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 87th minute Gilvan Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Faustão Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazare played a much better game than Anne Dieu-le-Veut and deserved their victory. The Anne Dieu-le-Veut players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
