Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frédson Recife kicked off to start the match. Kiko Faria came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Amaro AD's Frédson Recife. But to his dismay, Frédson Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute Alessandro Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Amaro AD booed when Carvalho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Amaro AD's Frédson Recife got a free kick in the 36th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Amaro AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Carvalho a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomé Duarte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amaro AD's Gustavo Sabóia. 2-1.

The wind increased when Fernandinho da Silva made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Carvalho's zone, Frédson Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Faria came out of the goal and Frédson Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho da Silva in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Amaro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho da Silva came free, but Gustavo Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amaro AD's Gustavo Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Figueiredo in the 57th minute of play. If Tomé Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kiko Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Recife in the 64th minute of the match. When Rolando Maureo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carvalho's protests and gave Rolando Maureo a yellow card for diving instead. Fellipe de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Faria having to interfere. Fernandinho da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fernandinho da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Sabóia was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
