After a rather tough play, TumTum FC's Gilberto Chaves got a free kick in the 4th minute. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Otávio de Salles put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maicon Valle. Márcio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Maicon Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, TumTum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Neves came free, but Maicon Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Valle having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Luís Eduardo Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. TumTum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robinho Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Eduardo Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robinho Hermes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Otávio de Salles sped through TumTum FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maicon Valle. Márcio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Vânderson Vale could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Robinho Hermes however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of TumTum FC booed when SE Mauá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maicon Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio de Salles in the 42nd minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Flávio Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maicon Valle skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luís Eduardo Munhoz made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Otávio de Salles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maicon Valle, passed just outside the right post. When Celso Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Mauá's protests and gave Celso Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Duarte hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SE Mauá's goalkeeper Robinho Hermes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 played minutes SE Mauá got a freekick which was hit by Celso Duarte. After 88 played minutes, SE Mauá's Flávio Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maicon Valle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SE Mauá reached it. Maicon Valle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Márcio Neves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. Maicon Valle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Flávio Loyola. Maicon Valle was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Flávio Loyola. Otávio de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SE Mauá's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
