An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Rezende in the 8th minute of play forced THUBADA's goalkeeper Tarcisio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armandinho Cardoso took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Velasco. Tarcisio Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jano Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jano Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gláuber Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Spartan Legendary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Rezende couldn't finish the play. Josué Barros came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tarcisio Velasco could save by the left post. Spartan Legendary's Gláuber Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Gláuber Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tarcisio Velasco having to make a save. A collision led to Spartan Legendary getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Josué Barros hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Serginho Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Carlos das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Almeida in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Léo de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jano Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Spartan Legendary:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of THUBADA:s goal. Spartan Legendary:s Zé Carlos das Neves showed great skill when he stopped Faustão Almeida:s penalty. Humberto Toscano's late challenge caught a THUBADA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes into the game, one of Spartan Legendary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Faustão Almeida did an outstanding performance 76 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Zé Carlos das Neves in the goal. A collision led to Spartan Legendary getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Silas Paranaense hit a great ball. Jano Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere. Zé Carlos das Neves made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jano Berger sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, THUBADA's Zé Carlos das Neves threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Léo de Amaral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Josué Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tarcisio Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Josué Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Enrique Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the game, one of THUBADA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Léo de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 103rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
