Tarcisio Velasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Léo de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Ulisses Dante's late challenge caught a THUBADA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Dante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC RAUTA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ulisses Dante hit a great ball. Léo de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Faustão Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Salgado's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, THUBADA's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Melo came free, but Tarcisio Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcisio Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Salgado in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Salgado was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC RAUTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Favoretto during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes FC RAUTA got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Favoretto. Léo de Amaral took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão Maia. Faustão Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, THUBADA's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Salgado came free, but Tarcisio Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, THUBADA's goalkeeper Tarcisio Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Melo. After a rather tough play, THUBADA's Pedro Augusto de Queiroz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of THUBADA booed when FC RAUTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo de Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustão Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. FC RAUTA's Faustão Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Berger in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Léo de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC RAUTA's zone, Jano Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Maia came out of the goal and Jano Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Melo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Manuel Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Faustão Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Léo de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
