Yuri Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luís Gerber made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Edgar Melo sent off a good shot on target. Renan Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Maia having to interfere. When Leonel Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC RAUTA's protests and gave Leonel Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, FC RAUTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Salgado was the one to do the kick off. Armandinho Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Faustão Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson Neiva during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inside Job's Jeferson Neiva got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ulisses Dante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Luís Gerber. Inside Job's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manuel Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Gerber having to interfere. Inside Job's Armandinho Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes FC RAUTA got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Dante. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for FC RAUTA. Ulisses Dante stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving André Luís Gerber. 2-0. FC RAUTA's Faustão Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC RAUTA from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Inside Job's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Melo came free, but André Luís Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Inside Job booed when FC RAUTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball.
