In the 13th minute, one of Trezeano F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trezeano F.C.. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for THUBADA. Faustão Almeida stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rubens de Toledo. 0-1. Léo de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When THUBADA's Jano Berger in 22 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rubens de Toledo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Rubens de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubens de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo de Amaral in the 29th minute of play. If Léo de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rubens de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. THUBADA's Léo de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raúl Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Trezeano F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Raúl Vergílio hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Brito to make the kick off. Carlos Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Brito took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Velasco. Tarcisio Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 62 minutes, Jano Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THUBADA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo de Amaral in the 64th minute of play forced Trezeano F.C.'s goalkeeper Rubens de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo de Amaral in the 69th minute of play. Trezeano F.C.'s Rubens de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Trezeano F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Fabiano Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raúl Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Trezeano F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Vergílio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, THUBADA's Enrique Alvarenga got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Trezeano F.C.'s Fabiano Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
