After 23 played minutes Inside Job got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Neiva. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Neves during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Edgar Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Jeferson Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandinho Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renan Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joélson Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inside Job's André Luís Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Neves in the 41st minute of play. When Renan Perez came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Inside Job fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Perez couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Vale got free with Joélson Cosme in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Inside Job's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Neves came free, but André Luís Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renan Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Jonas Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sucuarana Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Joélson Cosme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 minutes Sucuarana Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geovânio Baptista who took care of the corner kick. Inside Job's Geovânio Baptista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joélson Cosme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 65 minutes into the match, Sucuarana Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Perez came free, but Joélson Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Edgar Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Inside Job's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Neves came free, but André Luís Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Sucuarana Futebol Clube's Fernandinho Cearense made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Luís Gerber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernandinho Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but André Luís Gerber made a huge save. If Renan Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benjamin Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renan Perez in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joélson Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fernandinho Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 98th minute, Armandinho Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
