After 40 minutes of play, FC RAUTA's Edgar Melo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th match minute, FC RAUTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Faustão Maia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wilian Lucas. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Durvalino Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulisses Dante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chico Munhoz. Clube Atlético Capitari's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Capitari's Chico Munhoz got control of the ball when Edgar Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Egídio Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Durvalino Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Yuri Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC RAUTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Egídio Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durvalino Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Maia having to interfere. Faustão Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durvalino Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Despite being the better team, Clube Atlético Capitari failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
