Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristiano Magalhães took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rubens Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 6 minutes, Cristiano Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SELK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 played minutes DeLucena F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nelson de Queiroz. Rubens Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Anderson da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, DeLucena F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Donato to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anderson da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Alberto Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Rubens Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Magalhães got free with Anderson da Costa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Décio Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anderson da Costa having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Rubens Medeiros took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anderson da Costa to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of SELK FC booed when DeLucena F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Magalhães's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Anderson da Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Valdemar Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz in the 30th minute of play. If Décio Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match, Cristiano Magalhães got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anderson da Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Anderson da Costa had great luck who in the 42ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Cristiano Magalhães from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Siqueira in the 48th minute of play forced SELK FC's goalkeeper Valdemar Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Maurício Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes SELK FC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Sá. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Valdemar Nascimento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rubens Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cristiano Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. SELK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kléberson Queirós struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Anderson da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SELK FC. If Rubens Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anderson da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Magalhães in the 84th minute of play. Valdemar Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind DeLucena F.C.'s goalkeeper Anderson da Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SELK FC's Kléberson Queirós got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute Maurício Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SELK FC fully deserved thier win.
