Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anderson Araújo got the match started through his kick off. The coaching staff of Ratquimby protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sérgio Azevedo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 3 minutes into the game, one of Ratquimby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ratquimby:s João Vítor Barral showed great skill when he stopped Luiz Fernando Vergílio:s penalty. After 10 played minutes Eliézer de Queiroz rounded Ratquimby's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ratquimby's zone, Eliézer de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Barral came out of the goal and Eliézer de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luiz Guilherme Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ratquimby's João Vítor Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer de Queiroz in the 31st minute of play. Gláuber Sergipano charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gláuber Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Ratquimby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer de Queiroz in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Ancari's Eliézer de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Vítor Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Gláuber Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christiano Medeiros during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Vítor Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer de Queiroz in the 97th minute of play. Ancari's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
