Spectators: 7266 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) Germano Gonçalves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Germano Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Germano Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Teles having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Márcio Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. falcoes dourados fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márcio Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafim da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jurujuba's Osvaldo Bertassi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luizinho Proença. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Borges in the 30th minute of play forced Jurujuba's goalkeeper Franklin Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Serafim da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jurujuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luizinho Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Franklin Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Gonçalves in the 38th minute of the match. If Márcio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jurujuba's Giovanni Pereira got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, falcoes dourados fc's Márcio Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Bertassi to strike the kick off in the second half. Maicon Velloso thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Luizinho Proença, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-1. Luizinho Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Bertassi in the 57th minute of the match. If Márcio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Jurujuba got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Amaral. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Betinho Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. falcoes dourados fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luizinho Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Bertassi in the 71st minute of the match. Serafim da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Proença having to interfere. Sidney Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidney Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Germano Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Márcio Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franklin Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. falcoes dourados fc's Luizinho Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim da Cunha in the 94th minute of play. Luizinho Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Bertassi in the 96th minute of the match.
