Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cabore EC's Fabinho Velasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Fabinho Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabore EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabinho Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabinho Velasco took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Pombal. Michel Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when Fabinho Velasco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Amílton Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monge Radical's Michel Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Velasco in the 23rd minute of play. Michel Pombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabinho Velasco went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 35 minutes, Tião Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabore EC and the Monge Radical players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Cabore EC got a freekick which was hit by Tião Vander. After 40 minutes, Fabinho Velasco made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Monge Radical's Michel Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Monge Radical's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Paranaense came free, but Michel Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelinho da Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cabore EC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Luan Medeiros hit a great ball. Renato Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cabore EC's Patrick Rezende got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pedrinho Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrinho Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Pedrinho Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Fabinho Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabore EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabinho Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cabore EC's Pedro Carneiro was substituted for Tião Vander. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Velasco in the 73rd minute of play forced Monge Radical's goalkeeper Michel Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Cabore EC's Fabinho Velasco made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cabore EC made a substitution. Anselmo Valladares replaced Zézinho Pernambucano. Patrick Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Amílton Castro took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Michel Pombal to make any attempt to save it. Cabore EC played a much better game than Monge Radical and deserved their victory. The Monge Radical players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
