Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Rodrigues kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Salles in the 10th minute of play forced Jango FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jaime Rodrigues sped through Tourada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tostão Viana. Jaime Rodriguess short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Tostão Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ronaldo Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Jango FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Ramalho couldn't finish the play. If Jaime Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tourada's Tostão Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Antunes in the 24th minute of play. Rodolfo da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jango FC's Amílton Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeu Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaime Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tostão Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jango FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Durval Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tostão Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42nd play minutes Jaime Rodrigues shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Tostão Viana and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Jaime Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tostão Viana was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo da Rocha made a kick off. Tostão Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 65th minute of the match. Jango FC's Jaime Rodrigues managed to work through Tourada's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jaime Rodrigues dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Tourada's zone, Ronaldo Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tostão Viana came out of the goal and Ronaldo Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 played minutes Tourada got a freekick which was hit by Rui Salles. Ronaldo Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Amílton Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Viana having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Rodrigo da Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tostão Viana skillfully saved the ball. Tostão Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 84th minute of the match. If Durval Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Jaime Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tostão Viana was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Jango FC's Durval Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jango FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
