An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo da Rocha in the 5th minute of play forced Witmarsum FC's goalkeeper Sebastião Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Witmarsum FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ramiro Amorim hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Witmarsum FC got a freekick which was hit by Cido Mota. Witmarsum FC's Ivo Ferreira suffered a sore knee after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 15th minute, Albertinho Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertinho Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Rodolfo da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastião Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Salles in the 28th minute of play. Albertinho Rossi scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tostão Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ramiro Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Witmarsum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Amorim couldn't finish the play. Albertinho Rossi scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tostão Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Diogo Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo da Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Ramiro Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Witmarsum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Albertinho Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tostão Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kauan Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Witmarsum FC booed when Tourada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Rossi in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Viana saved Tourada from getting behind. If Ramiro Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Tourada got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo da Rocha. Albertinho Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tostão Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertinho Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Tourada's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Mota came free, but Tostão Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertinho Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ramiro Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Witmarsum FC's Albertinho Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tostão Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Albertinho Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81stth minute of the game Reginaldo Rezende who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tourada's Tostão Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Witmarsum FC booed when Tourada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Albertinho Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertinho Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Viana having to interfere. Ramiro Amorim took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tostão Viana. Tostão Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. There was no doubt that Witmarsum FC were the better team. Witmarsum FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
