Denílson Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denílson Vidal in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Miraselva's Luiz Paulo Braga got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Tiaguinho Moura shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Angelo das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraselva's protests and gave Angelo das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Angelo das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Miraselva getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luciano Mattos hit a great ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miraselva's goalkeeper Jonas Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Miraselva's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Britto came free, but Jonas Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo das Neves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Duarte Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Castro having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Miraselva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Macedo to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson Vidal to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Miraselva got a freekick which was hit by Luan Soeiro. 57 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's Tiaguinho Moura broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Duarte Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Denílson Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luiz Paulo Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes of play, Miraselva's Duarte Hermes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldo Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronaldo Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Hermes in the 83rd minute of play. Duarte Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronaldo Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hogwarts's Enio Brito got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Duarte Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hogwarts's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
