Válter Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovânio Simões to make the kick off. Geovânio Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tostão Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulo Renato Porto came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Real Andradas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Renato Porto couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tourada's Kauan Gaspar got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes, Geovânio Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Andradas and the Tourada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Real Andradas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Simões to maneuver through the defense. Real Andradas's Válter Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Salles in the 61st minute of play. Rui Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Geovânio Simões showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Laerte Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tourada getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Laerte Borges hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Real Andradas's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo da Rocha came free, but Válter Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
