This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tostão Viana as he didn't even see the shot coming. Laerte Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Wellington Borges hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Miraselva's Luiz Paulo Braga got a free kick in the 14th minute. Charles Gaúcho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Azevedo. Miraselva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Maurinho Albuquerque sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute, Luiz Paulo Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Miraselva's goalkeeper Jonas Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Rodolfo da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Duarte Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Viana having to interfere. When Túlio Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tourada's protests and gave Túlio Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. Tostão Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Borges in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wellington Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonas Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tourada. 56 minutes into the match, Rui Salles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Azevedo, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tourada's zone, Wellington Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tostão Viana came out of the goal and Wellington Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Viana having to interfere. Angelo das Neves hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Charles Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Borges in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Viana saved Tourada from getting behind. If Rui Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tourada's Tostão Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Hermes in the 88th minute of play. Wellington Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tostão Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jonas Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Angelo das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Jonas Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo da Rocha in the 98th minute of play.
