Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hogwarts's Denílson Vidal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 13 minutes, Reginaldo Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Witmarsum FC and the Hogwarts players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Witmarsum FC defense, Denílson Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Corrêa. The Witmarsum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Corrêa should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, João Vítor Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ronaldo Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Hogwarts got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Soares. Luís Eduardo Amaral, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that João Vítor Paraense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldo Castro was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. João Vítor Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes in the game, João Vítor Paraense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ronaldo Castro having to interfere. In the 69th minute João Vítor Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Albertinho Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Witmarsum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertinho Rossi couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute João Vítor Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Corrêa having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Witmarsum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Mota to maneuver through the defense. If Albertinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Witmarsum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cido Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
