Tourada's Tostão Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Vidal in the 6th minute of play. Maurinho Albuquerque hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Tiaguinho Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hogwarts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Denílson Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tostão Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 30th minute Denílson Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Denílson Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denílson Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Castro having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hogwarts had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
