With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Rodrigues in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Simão saved Yucatan SC from getting behind. Durval Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gernando Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Rodrigues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Gernando Simão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gernando Simão made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jaime Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Yucatan SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Jaime Rodrigues scored to the left of an out of position Gernando Simão, making the score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Jaime Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gernando Simão was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Rodriguinho Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Yucatan SC's Gernando Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Yucatan SC from getting a goal against them. Gernando Simão made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Durval Lago sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Rodrigues in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gernando Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 played minutes Yucatan SC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Pires. Durval Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gernando Simão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Jaime Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Simão having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Durval Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Rodrigues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Gernando Simão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 2-1 came in the 43rd minute when Dinei de Amorim all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Reynaldo de Queirós. In the 68th minute of the match, Dinei de Amorim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reynaldo de Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gernando Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinei de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jango FC booed when Yucatan SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Simão came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jango FC's Durval Lago. But to his dismay, Durval Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Rodrigues in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Simão saved Yucatan SC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Vinhas during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Fabiano Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Durval Lago made a precise shot to the right of Gernando Simão. Yucatan SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Yucatan SC's Gernando Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Rodrigues in the 96th minute of play. Jango FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
