Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gualter Boaru got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, César Veloso notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Santiago Soldiers FC's Benjamim Meira. Benjamim Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamim Meira made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when César Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho Camargo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Santiago Soldiers FC's Benjamim Meira. Benjamim Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gualter Boaru came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Santiago Soldiers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Boaru couldn't finish the play. After having played for 18 minutes, Conrado Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manaus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafinha da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Boaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gualter Boaru came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Santiago Soldiers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Boaru couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Osvaldinho Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manaus FC's Rafinha da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Vaabel in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Manaus FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Durval Vianna hit a great ball. Gualter Boaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, César Veloso took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Benjamim Meira to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Figueiredo to make the kick off. When Osvaldinho Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manaus FC's protests and gave Osvaldinho Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldinho Camargo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Manaus FC's Rafinha da Cunha got control of the ball when Moisés Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldinho Camargo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamim Meira. Benjamim Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Benjamim Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Santiago Soldiers FC's Moisés Falcão got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Gualter Boaru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moisés Falcão during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Santiago Soldiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Figueiredo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamim Meira. Benjamim Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Benjamim Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Alcântara in the 79th minute of play. Rafinha da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Boaru in the 80th minute of play. When Osvaldinho Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Manaus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Camargo couldn't finish the play. Conrado Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benjamim Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Osvaldinho Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manaus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamim Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute César Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Meira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Figueiredo in the 94th minute of play forced Santiago Soldiers FC's goalkeeper Benjamim Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamim Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. César Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Benjamim Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manaus FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
