Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gualter Boaru got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Gualter Boaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Benjamim Meira managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the game, Santiago Soldiers FC's Jonas Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristiano Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 15 minutes Nukengo SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Germano Mota who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Germano Mota almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nukengo SC's Cristiano Paulista did a great save. When Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santiago Soldiers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Márcio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Meira having to interfere. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio Neves's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Moisés Falcão hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match, Márcio Neves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamim Meira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benjamim Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Neves in the 40th minute of play. Márcio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benjamim Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Mello's late challenge caught a Santiago Soldiers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Augusto Mello helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Nukengo SC got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Mello. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márcio Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Nukengo SC got a corner. Santiago Soldiers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hílton Teles ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benjamim Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Dante in the 63rd minute of the match. Márcio Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamim Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Alan da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hílton Teles didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 71st minute, Magno Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Gualter Boaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santiago Soldiers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Boaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márcio Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Márcio Neves came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Nukengo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Neves couldn't finish the play. João Augusto Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Meira having to interfere. Nukengo SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Gualter Boaru scored to the left of an out of position Cristiano Paulista, making the score, 0-2. Although Nukengo SC had been in control for most of the match, Santiago Soldiers FC still came away with the win.
