Carlos Fernando Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tupipano FC's Walmyr Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Raizama's Durval Romero got a free kick in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Doriva Loureiro sped through Tupipano FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diogo Eger. Tupipano FC's Diogo Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter de Andrade in the 21st minute of play. Alexandre Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match.
