When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doriva Loureiro made a kick off. Gilberto Linares was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Henrique Macedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The Raizama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jano Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Gilberto Linares made a huge save. If Válter de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Válter de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
