Hugo de Castro came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Black Mamba's Sandrinho Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Abel Furtado struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hugo de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Black Mamba. CF Black Mamba's Sandrinho Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Cássio Veloso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caveira's Hugo de Castro. Hugo de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Caveira booed when CF Black Mamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo de Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CF Black Mamba! Sandrinho Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo de Castro having to make a save. CF Black Mamba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Clemente Carneiro scored to the left of an out of position Filipe de Godoi, making the score, 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandrinho Bittencourt was the one to do the kick off. If Sandrinho Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CF Black Mamba's Rafael Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo de Castro having to make a save. A hard shot 75 in the game by Sandrinho Bittencourt from a close distance when the talented Hugo de Castro managed to make a qualified save. Caveira's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sandrinho Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Black Mamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rafael Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Cássio Veloso rounded Caveira's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Igor Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hugo de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cássio Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Black Mamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Sandrinho Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over CF Black Mamba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caveira throughout the match.
