After a rather tough play, Alcantil's Beto Linares got a free kick in the 7th minute. A collision led to Alcantil getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Beto Linares hit a great ball. Eliézer Mello scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer Mello got free with Gilberto Linares in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dito Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliézer Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gilberto Linares made a huge save. Durval Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva Loureiro in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto de Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Beto Linares fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcantil's protests and gave Beto Linares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alcantil getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Beto Linares hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Torres in the 63rd minute of play. Gilberto Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Beto Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Válter de Andrade's late challenge caught a Alcantil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válter de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. Válter de Andrade hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Doriva Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Alcantil's Dito Torres made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexsandro Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Raizama's Válter de Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guto de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Raizama's zone, Dito Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Linares came out of the goal and Dito Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raizama's Gilberto Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Torres in the 99th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alcantil had won after a very even match.
