Dedé Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Linares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedé Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. When Raizama's Doriva Loureiro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jacques FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Aguiar in the 23rd minute of play forced Raizama's goalkeeper Gilberto Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacques FC's Elói Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Jacques FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Kléber Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Fabrício Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Doriva Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Raizama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Loureiro couldn't finish the play. Doriva Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Elói Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Válter de Andrade could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Elói Vieira however easily saved by the left post. Doriva Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Vieira having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Jacques FC's Dedé Aguiar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Dedé Aguiar made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Jacques FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Doriva Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elói Vieira was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. A collision led to Raizama getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Doriva Loureiro hit a great ball. Válter de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Vieira having to interfere. Doriva Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 played minutes Raizama got a freekick which was hit by Durval Romero. Dedé Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Linares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Aguiar in the 69th minute of play forced Raizama's goalkeeper Gilberto Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Raizama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Dedé Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacques FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiko Furlan's late challenge caught a Raizama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. Raizama's Gilberto Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Aguiar in the 86th minute of play. Afonso Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gilberto Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Jacques FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
